Best British Landscapes to Photograph in the Winter

Are you wanting to get out and photograph some landscapes this winter?

Winter can be one of the best seasons for it. Moody skies, frosty mornings, and blankets of snow can transform a landscape into a completely magical experience. We’ve lined up some interesting spots for you to visit with your camera around the UK.

1. Kirkstall Abbey, Leeds

Kirkstall Abbey is a ruined Cistercian monastery in Kirkstall, north-west of Leeds city centre in West Yorkshire. Photographing it in the winter can make for a wonderfully dramatic photo with the contrast of the old architecture against moody skies and bright white snow if you’re lucky.
