Tutors

Kevin Pigney ARPS DPAGB ASINWP began his wildlife photography journey around six years ago. He is an active member at both Ely Photographic Club & Cambridge Camera Club, and has achieved an Associate with the Royal Photographic Society, a Distinction with the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain & an Associate with The Societies of Photographers. He has won numerous competitions and awards including The Societies International Print winner Nature 2022.

While gaining recognition for his work is much appreciated, what Kevin really loves is spending time in the field with wonderful wild creatures and critters. He has developed a style of nature image where he concentrates on elements such as eye contact with the subject, detached/diffused backgrounds, limited colour palette & compositions with negative space. He also enjoys passing on knowledge to fellow photographers. This may come via one to one training in the field, live presentations or zoom talks which he does regularly throughout the UK & beyond.
