PART 1 – SEEING IMAGES with ASPECTS OF DESIGN and ABSTRACT – VISUAL AWARENESS USING A LOCATION, SITUATION, OR CIRCUMSTANCE
This webinar is about making the most of the opportunities that you create as a photographer – using a number of different approaches to varying subjects, lens-work, angle of view, and viewpoint. You’ll explore ways of adding intuition, influences, emotion, composition, and involvement.
Leigh Preston FRPS, EFIAP, MPAGB will teach you about making pictures away from the ‘norm’, focusing on personal vision, interpretation, format, triptych work, and composite images. Discover how to make pictures with an emphasis, whilst also exploring simplicity and use of empty spaces within the frame. Leigh will cover what to leave in and what to take out to make a picture work, and ultimately how to make your individual images in a unique, personal style.
The session will cover the refinement of those opportunities in a section on after-work/processing and the stages of image adjustment. The final part is about building a printed portfolio, and making ‘panels’ with prints and pictorial essays.
The workshop will end with a Q&A.
