Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year Winners Announced

Bearsden photographer scoops 2023 Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year title.

PermaJet are proud sponsors of the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year awards, of which the 2023 winners were recently announced.

Bearsden-based Brian Pollock, has won the grand title of the Scottish landscape Photographer of the Year awards with his winning portfolio of 3 stunning images shot in the Scottish Highlands. They include “Binnean Beag & the Grey Corries from Binnean Mor” which captures the view out to the Grey Corries from Binnean Mor at the edge of a rain storm, “Stob Ban & Stob Coire Easan, from Sgor Eilde Beag” – a stunning sastrugi formation mirroring the distant peaks of Stob Ban & Stob Coire Easan in the distance and “Buachaille Etive Mòr in Winter from Beinn a’ Chrùlaiste” – a stunning take of the famous peak covered in pristine snow.

Brian said: “I am delighted to receive the news that I have won Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2023 . The outdoors and the Scottish landscape in particular have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember and it is a privilege to be able to share that passion through my photography. I am very grateful to Stuart Low for all the work he does to promote Scotland through the competition.”

In addition to the grand title, The Awards consists of several other categories including awards for the best single landscape, seascape urban, monochrome and weather images.

The winning images will be showcased in a limited edition book and exhibited at the the new St James Quarter and some smaller galleries in the Scottish Highlands throughout 2023.
