The images in this book are the realisation of a long held desire of mine to visit Iceland. In 2008 I got my wish and together with my husband and two good friends, spent two weeks exploring 'The Golden Road' that encircles the coast of Iceland, storing as much as we could of the many sights and sounds that the island had to offer in both our memory banks as well as in our cameras. With so much to see, two weeks did not do justice to all that was on offer but it certainly gave us a flavour of this truly magical island.
