The morning session will cover the equipment etc., required to photograph nature and wildlife including: lenses, extenders, flashguns, tripods, plus specialised nature photographers equipment i.e. hides.

Shutter speeds, apertures, ISO, white balance and other basic settings on digital SLR cameras will also be discussed. Advice on when and where to easily find and photograph UK birds and animals. Plus, further advice on animal and bird safari photography abroad.

After lunch a visit to a local falconry centre has been organised to photograph birds in natural conditions. Mike will be on hand to help and advise for this practical session.
