The NOVA DIGICOLOUR CD has become the standard digital tool for Digital Photographers wanting to stop the waste of paper and inks.
What you see on your computer monitor and have spent hours retouching and manipulating, may not always print out as you imagined resulting in wasted time and materials. Different packs of paper and different ink cartridges will make a difference to what you print out, in just the same way as changes in paper and chemistry in conventional photo processing do. Now, if you had a calibrated test image on which you could rely, these changes could be monitored and adjusted for. The new NOVA DIGICOLOUR has been exclusively designed to tell you what colour balance adjustment is required before printing your images, to allow you to adjust for the subtle differences between inks and paper batches. The basic idea behind the process is that you print the DIGICOLOUR image through your manipulation software (such as Adobe Photoshop® 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, LE, PhotoDeluxe, CorelDraw & Paintshop Pro - does not work with Adobe Elements 1.0 or 2.0) and using the special 18% grey 'mouse' supplied, you now select the nearest dot on the test print. This will tell you the changes in colour balance to make for ALL your own images to ensure quality prints from your work. You can now continue to make your prints knowing the predominant colour cast problems you could have encountered have now disappeared! It really is that simple, but amazingly effective. The test print image on the Digicolour CD is fully compatible with all PC and AppleMac® computers and can be downloaded into any photographic image manipulation software where overall colour balance control adjustments can be made (as stated above). It comes with the required special 18% grey 'mouse' and full instructions. |
