Poor Pick up Feed

If you are struggling with Fine Art papers picking up through your printer, try inserting a couple of plain sheets of standard photocopier paper behind the media and by brushing your hand over the media to remove any excess fibres will further enhance the pick up.

Try pre-loading the Fine Art media by following the above process but this time pre-loading the paper by pressing the paper feed button on the front panel of the printer before hitting the print button from your desktop.

Have you tried using the PermaJet RETAC, this is a specially formulated, continuous repositionable adhesive mounting spray that can also be used to create a cleaning sheet for your printer.

Simply spray ReTac to the reverse side of a heavy weight (200gsm +) A4 paper and allow this to dry for 10 minutes MINIMUM. Now feed this sheet ADHESIVE SIDE UP, using the paper feed button, through your printer and this will remove and pick up all the fibres from the main feed roller that can cause poor paper feed. You can reuse the same sheet and do this process as many times as you like.
