Empty Tubes

Symptoms:

• One or more of my tubes are totally empty in the morning or after a few days of no use.

Solution:
The Eco-Flo systems have been designed to allow air to filter within the injector as the diaphram design allows and caters for this. If the printer has been left used for a long period, air can be introduced within the head and injector.

In order to bring the system back to its normal working condition please refer and follow the procedure on AIR IN THE INJECTOR. If you see any small air bubbles in the ink lines, these will be absorbed and filtered out at the injector end as the design allows this. It is not something to be concerned about.

IMPORTANT: If you are not using the printer for more than 3 days we would recommend that you clamp off all the injector lines as it is not advisable to let your printer sit idle for long periods of time without actually printing something. In general, we suggest that if you are not going to print for 3 or more days or are going away on a holiday, then clamp off each ink with the white tube clamps. On your return, release them before turning the printer back on - this action prevents any ink moving forward or backwards in the tubes whilst not in use and eliminates the need for any wasteful head cleaning.
